Hi, I purchased a used 2009 Switchback LD with a 31″ cam. Even though I shoot a 31/31.5″ DL on Hoyt bows this is my first Mathews and I’m finding it quite a bit longer. As such I’m trying to find a 30″ cam.

My question is … even if it is not marked LD will a 28″ C1 cam work on the LD? Does a cam without LD marks have the string connection on it?

I ask because it is becoming very difficult to find a 30″ LD cam.

    thanks.

Yes Sir it will work.  The cobra cam and C1 are the same. The Cobra cam and the C1 cam are the exact same cam, however they just have different engravings as the Cobra was the original cam and the C1 is the new cam. Again only difference is what is engraved on the cam. The difference in draw length from the Switchback and the Switchback LD would be 2″. So the 28″ cam will become a 30″ cam on the Switchback LD.

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but I just had a related question. I am looking at picking up a Mathews S2 and was wondering if I could get the draw length out to 31.5″? Can this draw length only be achieved with the Switchback LD, as the C1 cam that will give me 32″ on the LD will only get me to 30″ on the S2?
