not sure if this is possible but figured i would ask.   My son wants a bow and I wondered if i can retro my switchback to fit a smaller hunter?   it is set now at a 26.5 in draw at 65# ?   say drop it to 35-40# and shorten draw?

Wow…that is a totally different bow.

You cant drop that far in poundage…well, in keeping the same base bow you now have.
Sorry, your going to have to go with plan B.

Good luck….let us know how it works out…

You can drop the draw down to 25″ with a cam change and you can get 40 pound limbs, but that’s about all you can do. 25″ is most likely too long for your 10 yr. old ,unless he is quite tall, like 5ft 4in. or so.

outside of what’s been mentioned above, I’d be concerned about the overall size and static weight of the bow being too much for them. Have you considered looking at the mission lineup like the Menace, Craze or Riot?

Yes i have.   My daughter owns the menace but figured I would check to see what can be done if anything with the switchback.   I know stop being so cheap and buy the kid his own new bow.   {#emotions_dlg.mathews_big_smile}  thanks for the replies
