Has anyone played around by putting string grubs on a 2005 Switchback? I was going to replace my string and cables here soon and I had the brain fart idea of adding the grubs. Is it a minus or a plus to add those on a Switchback? Interested in your technical views of this notion.

:D Mark…I believe it was the SB we played with ..added rubber Eliminator buttons to make up a grub like structure…started with five and cut down to one and none..if i remember correctly speed gain was minimal at best but if if placed 1/2″ wrong it was in the minus’s..

Decided it wasnt worth it…that was the same for several bows we tested.. for all the work we did and 1-2 FPS faster it wasnt worth it..one can make up 1-2 FPS in other quicker ways

All ya need a day off and a chrony…

Thanks for re-enforcing my vague memory of some post several years back almost about the same thing and if I remember it had the same result– it’s not worth it. Thanks Neil.
