If I did not use the goliath I would use this…

I’d have to wish you luck sitting in that one. It climbs nice but doesn’t sit very comfortably. I’ve got a pair of Vipers and an Alpha Hand Climber. [=}=]

Went out and purchased the Goliath. I am pretty sure I made the right choice. Put it together and shortly after drew 1st blood! Was cutting the tie straps with a knife and sliced my finger rather deep. #-o

Like I said before, it just amazes me how comfortable these stands are. If you are considering one, do yourself a favor and find a dealer that will let you sit in one before you buy. SUMMIT GETS :thumbup :thumbup

It took a while for me to figure it out, but correct me if i am wrong guys, put the platform inside the top portion, then weave the backrest part of the seat on over where you would stand on the plat form , next secure the bottom area with a strap flip over and the seat is in the way, so you stuff it down at a 45 angle and just work the straps to the side of the seat. If you can’t do it make the shoulder straps a little longer and that is the way i did it. Try the site maybe they got the instructions there.

Hey guys, thanks for taking the time, still undecided though. Hoping a few razor guys will chime in. Leaning towards the goliath though! and thinking about buying an extra openshot seat for portability!

i took my razor for a spin on monday morning. it was the first time i hunted out of it and only the 2nd time i been up a tree with it.

super easy and fast. ive never hunted from a climber before and i like open tree stands, so i had to go with the razor.

made it 20 ft up the tree in 10 min with out a light.

the way mine works is you take the platform set it in the seat section and take the seat straps and bungee it to the platform for a back cushion then across the center put your pull strap on there and sinch it down and put it on your back and your done. I love mine….makes me want to just go and put mine on my back…..also just an FYI you may even want to condition yours if its been up so long…if you dont want to take water proofing spray do to the smell then you can take a fresh tube of cheap bow wax and color it in like a crayon and then take a blow dryer and let it melt into the fibers and walla your water proof/ resistant.

works on snake boot too. i dont know if youve ever had it happen, your walking to the stand early in the morning and you walk through some tall grass and your feet are wet but you could darn near walk in water up to your knees and you never get wet ….well the wax will stop that .
