Like he said that bar is a good thing when climbing up the tree..And if you adjust your seat all the way up , the bar will never get in your way when shooting..The stand is real easy to bowhunt out of..Thats any of them..

But, if you had one slip in right under ya, there would be considerable movement (stand, draw) vs. being able to stay sitting and then the draw.

    Thats I shot I won’t Take(personaly)..So it’s not a factor for me [=}=]

Alright so you guys are happy with your goliaths BUT if you weren’t the size you guys are would you still be using the viper or goliath OR would you go ahead and get a razor.. Oh and what is so great about the backpacker series. I see that fold flat but does it matter? When toting the summits in and out of the woods together to they clank at all?

I adjust it so when I’m standing the top bar is way down by my knees..Just buy one and try it if you don’t like it take it back and get your money back, and then you can look at a Lone Wolf , or something else…

Definitely going to buy one, man I sat in one the other day, it was awesome, I mean really, it almost felt like a lazy boy! I was simply astonished! Goliath or Razor I am thinking, I really don’t think I can go wrong with either, just trying to get it right the 1st time.

Hey guys, thanks for taking the time, still undecided though. Hoping a few razor guys will chime in. Leaning towards the goliath though! and thinking about buying an extra openshot seat for portability!

I sat in the goliath and the viper. I am 220 6′ so I am not really all that big of a fella, but, the Goliath felt right but the viper felt just about as good. I am eyeing the razor but I like the way the padding wraps around the goliath’s front. I am just not sure about the razor though. It seems like most people here are using the viper, I’m guessing because of the cost, but I am drawn towards the goliath but the razor I’m thinking would be best for bowhunting. I am just confused why most people are using the closed front stands vs. the open fronts for bowhunting.

I’m 6’5.5″ 330lbs and hate heights,,It’s more of a safe feeling factor foor me..,And a nice brace when you have to get that extra inch while your stretching out to get the shot. Plus on a long sit in the stand, The rail acts as a great footrest while taking a nap ;)[/quote:1xdi5wtv]

    just a little fella huh :^O :^O
