So we’ve had about a month of gripes, complaints, frustrations, aggravations and lord knows what else. I think the powers that be are pretty aware by this point of how we feel. Yes the format and design still needs quite a bit of work, that’s been pretty well stated, and hopefully that being taken seriously and being addressed by the powers that be.
With that being said…..
Let’s work on getting this place back to the way it was, I’m not talking the old forum design though it would be nice, but the fun, the joking, the sharing in day to day life. Prayer needs, friendships, razzing each other oh yeah and talking archery.
It’s going to take all of us to bring this back around but we can do it, it’s a matter of if you want it to be like it was. I know I do.
I’ve gone through some of the greatest, saddest, and toughest times in my life since I’ve been a member here. The support, and I’ll say it love, and support I got from my brothers here honestly helped me through those times. Yes I have friends and relationships where I live but I’ve also grown many here that really made a difference in those times.
This is a home for me and I don’t like the fact my home is falling apart. So let’s start rebuilding!
How are you living your Dash?I’ve never really stopped but then I’m an eternal optimist just like my brother Larry and my other brother Larry!

It would be nice to have a thesaurus feature in the new format so Tommy can look up the meaning of all those two-syllable words. I just don’t have the time anymore to keep explaining them.

The real funny part of that is the confusion you cause Tommy due to your explanations being in metric…
The end is near....Agreed!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
All We Do Is SELFILMEDI will say though, the powers to be don’t have a clue as to what they have already lost here…
The end is near....i agree bud.
I agree with you Sticks and I agree with statedriller.Yep. We’ve definitely lost some very interesting and knowledgeable members. Some may return. But others, like Neil, who have left for reasons beyond their control simply cannot be replaced. We definitely need to recruit more Canadians with updated browsers and permeable firewalls!

Maybe some changes can still be made to speed up the browsing process. Been having lots of trouble with my Mozilla browser and the Google browser on my phone still doesnt show the emoticon toolbar and the quote button doesn’t work. Looks like I can edit finally. Lots of great people missing now. Like I’ve said before, its as if there have been deaths in the family here.

I tried to make Firewall suggestions but I think I got burned

I was going to offer to get a Geek squad to his rescue and get that problem solved for him and send me the bill just so we didn’t loose his input. I miss the Alberta canuck.
I know what you all are saying. Here is a good example of only many things lost. This is a link to a thread that I made when I was in the tech department. http://mathewsinc.com/forums-home/topic/adjusting-t-quiver-for-shorter-axle-to-axle-bows/ As you can see all of the pictures are lost as they are on many of the tech support threads. Without the pictures the threads are worthless and may as well be removed. There was a lot of time and work that went into those threads by many. The more I look, the more I see that is lost and gone forever. The technical and technical fact threads could just be eliminated as most are worthless. I think that was some good things lost in the change over and do not know if it can be recovered or not.
