Does using a sight lens kit (i.e. HHA Feather Vision 2x or 4x lens), in general, change the point of impact as compared to no lens?¬† I’ve never used one, but I’m thinking about giving it a try.¬† Is there anything else I should be concerned about?¬† I’d appreciate any feedback.¬† Thanks.
p.o.I. can change slightly, but it’s because you can see the target better. depending on your eyesight and the power of the¬†lens you use, you may need a clarifier in your peep to clear up the target thru your scope.

Don’t forget to check out the Axcel line of target sights.
I have both the Sureloc and the Axcel. The Axcel has a larger windage adjustment — useful if you switch releases and thus change your anchor point slightly.
Both have full three axis leveling.
The Axcel has a ¬†.0156″/click adjustment.
Check out the way the scopes mount and the adjustability of the orientation of the pin.
If you need a clarifier, you will find you need a larger pin. And you may find you need a light for the pin.
As an alternative, consider using a dot on the lens instead of a pin.
You might also consider using a circle instead of a dot or a pin. You “aim” by centering the X spot in the middle of circle on your lens.
Lens? ¬†Consider the “power” of the lens. ¬†The higher the power — the more “zoomed” in you are on the spot. ¬†But you also “see” more movement in relation to the spot — which can lead to target panic.
Too much power for 3D, and you can find it hard to find references on the target. The same power might be ok on a spot target with high color contrast.
Stay true to your form and execute smoothly.
