Wait to see what is coming.
I have it on good counsel that one of the questions that a routine medical examination for children will be is to ascertain if there are guns in the house.[/quote:9jqo61v8]

Florida already attempted to implement a ‘Docs v. Glocks’ bill that would bar Doctors from asking patients about guns in the home. The bill was struck down by a federal judge not too long ago IIRC. As I understand it, there was a provision in Obamacare that limited a Doctor’s ability to do that, and I think that’s what Obama is trying to undue.

We’ve already talked with our family and made it clear that we express in no uncertain terms that it is absolutely NO ONE’S business what legal items we do or do not have in our home.

My 3 year old nephew was over last night and he brought along his green and yellow AR-15 looking fully auto plastic toy rifle and was running around shooting monsters with it and every now and then he would look up at one of my mounts on the wall and shoot it then say ….I got that bucky….
I was thinking I would have loved to have that when I was a kid then I was thinking if he goes to his day care school and tells the teacher he was shooting monsters and bucks with his rifle his mom will probably get called in and he will get suspended.
Then I think well I was brought up on God, Guns, Guts, America so I guess he will be too. Him and his 6 year old sister can’t wait to get in the blind this spring and watch my kill a gobbler. Liberals can K.M.A. me and my people aren’t changing for anyone !!

So what do we do with these in our “transformed societal sensitivity”?

    Nail gun
    Grease gun
    Caulk gun
    Glue gun
    Radar gun

Just to name a few. 8-|[/quote:cwn0ry5d]

Yep. Those items are nothing but trouble!

And for those of us with kids in school that we’ve worked so hard to teach good manners to, we’d better be retraining them to use the four letter word when they’re upset about something, ’cause we sure don’t want them to get made about a mistake and say, “Shoot!”[/quote:cwn0ry5d]

Now that one’s okay cause we spell it different down here “Shewt”! :^O[/quote:cwn0ry5d]

    :^O

Well maybe we ought to find out what you call rifles down there. Maybe we can just confuse them with your foreign language. :p

Here’s a quote from the article:

“It would appear that (the girl) does not have those risk factors identified for violent behavior,” the therapist wrote. “It would also seem that (she) had no harmful or predatory intent in the comments she made to her friends about the bubble ‘gun’ but did not recognize the heightened sensitivity and awareness of her friends and the response that may result from her comments.”[/i:26mz3f3y]

Really? You’re joshin me ain’t ya. A 5-year old doesn’t recognize the heightened sensitivity…. C’mon, I can understand a 4 1/2-year old not recognizing the heightened sensitivity, but a fully-grown, mature young woman of five years of age? Gimme a break! ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

Oh, and by the way folks. I don’t think this type of nonsense has anything to do with your president. It’s happening (and has been for several years) all over the western world.

Oh, that’s where you’re wrong Larry. I’m quite sure like every other bad thing that’s happened in the last 4 yrs, it’s Bush’s fault. 8-|
