    Garbage! :thumbdown

But that’s what you end up with when you make laws & rules based on emotion and the topic of the day. Furthermore, once the laws & rules are put in place, you have to enforce them without emotion or “wiggle room”.

Can’t use the “g-words” in school any more “God” or “gun”! ](*,)

I think there’s a clear agenda here. Many schools have become bastions of a liberal worldview. As we are continually reminded, liberals tend to have a visceral HATRED for guns. It’s a feeling that goes way beyond the rational. There are any number of objects that have risk factors much higher than guns that liberals don’t bat an eye at, but still, they can’t get their minds off guns.

Nonetheless, though they push with all their might, they haven’t been able to squelch gun ownership in America and bring us into conformity with that they believe to be the European ideal. So, if they can’t get legislation passed now, then maybe they can get the next generation to hate guns as much as they do. What better way to do that than to get children utterly terrified of even saying the word, drawing a picture, or heaven FORBID, visiting a website that has guns on it! :-S

Hopefully (from the liberal mindset), if they can get children afraid of even mentioning the word gun today, they will grow up to hate them tomorrow and the agenda to cleanse america of these instruments that make people mean can finally be accomplished.

All you have to do is look at the response of the school system to see that this is true. A kid mentions a HELLO KITTY BUBBLE gun and she suddenly is forced to see a psychologist. Why? Because the liberal worldview is that anyone who would even THINK of guns must be mentally or emotionally unstable, or just downright evil.

Unfortunately, the very people who ought to be the first in line to defend individuals against this type of imperial abuse, the media, are entirely complicit in the attempt to abridge society of this basic freedom.

So what do we do with these in our “transformed societal sensitivity”?

    Nail gun
    Grease gun
    Caulk gun
    Glue gun
    Radar gun

Just to name a few. 8-|

Here’s further evidence of what we’re up against:

    http://www.ammoland.com/2013/01/propose … z2IglD8VXv

Out of the 23 bills recently filed in New Jersey, three dealing with mental health evaluations as a condition of issuance of FID cards contain potential severe unintended consequences that could invalidate every FID card in the state.
They are A3688 (sponsors: Mainor and Jimenez), A3667 (sponsors: Cryan, O’Donnell, and Jasey) and A3676 (sponsor: Jimenez.)
All three of these bills require a mental health evaluation approved by the Superintendent of State police as a condition for issuance of a New Jersey Firearms Purchaser ID card under N.J.S. 2C:58-3c.

Failure to do so is explicitly a “disability” under N.J.S. 2C:58-3c
A3676 also requires a privacy invading in-home inspection as a condition for issuance of an FID card, and A3688 requires submission of a list of household members with mental illness to the police to receive an FID card. Failure to obey these requirements are also explicitly “disabilities” under N.J.S. 2C:58-3c.[/quote:3b72bv37]

Understand what this means. If someone doesn’t submit a mental health evaluation, then they are presumed to be ‘unfit’ to own a firearm under these bills. Additionally, one of the bills would require a home visit in order to make sure that you are capable of handling a gun in your own home.

This is how we are seen by liberals. We are criminals until we prove otherwise. We are presumed mentally ill simply because we think we have the right to defend ourselves and our families. Gun owners are seen by these liberals as no less than sexual predators who must be continually checked out and tracked. And if they can’t prohibit us from having firearms altogether, then they will try to bring enough difficulty and shame into ownership that it drives most people away from even trying to obtain a gun.

    Welcome to 1984.

Yep. Those items are nothing but trouble!

And for those of us with kids in school that we’ve worked so hard to teach good manners to, we’d better be retraining them to use the four letter word when they’re upset about something, ’cause we sure don’t want them to get made about a mistake and say, “Shoot!”

Wait to see what is coming.
I have it on good counsel that one of the questions that a routine medical examination for children will be is to ascertain if there are guns in the house.

Also, parents may not be allowed in the exam room with their children past a certain age. I heard 12 years old……..

So, the intent here is to determine the relative safety of the child. By default, if there are guns in the house the child is automatically at risk.

You guys need to be aware that Obamacare is a lot more than just free medical care for Democrats. It is a control thing.

And all of the health info you give is linked together, or will be, in one large database.

Any record of counseling done for you or your family will be known. I suggest that any time you seek counseling you do it privately, where no record is in the system. That will, one day, be used against you at a most inopportune time.
