The QAD rest and the trophy taker look kind of similar and I was wandering which do you think is a better overall rest for huntingQAD by far
All We Do Is SELFILMEDI have not shot either but I have contemplated both as well. I got to play with the Trophy Taker at LAS this past weekend and its a simple and rugged design but the side loading model takes some getting used to. They now offer a top loading model. My other concern with this rest is how far behind the riser the launcher sits. At full draw you will be approximately 1.5 inches behind the berger hole. This has the same effect as a short brace height. I inquired with a few of the staff at LAS about the durability of the QAD and they did indicate some of the LD models were not dropping properly. Most guys on here don’t seem to have had much problem with them though. Again, I have not shot either so this is just my observations.QAD-hd
