Looking to add some variety to my archery.  So I wanted to try using the Flu Flu arrows.  But since I don’t think they will work well with a biscuit rest {#emotions_dlg.mathews_laughing}  I need another rest.  Will any drop away work with them?  Say a QAD rest or Axion Pulse?  Some times when I’m in the deer stand I get a little bored so I might be tempted to do a little squirrel hunting {#emotions_dlg.mathews_big_smile}  Any info is appreciated.

Since they are feathers, you don’t have to worry about fletch contact … other than the WB will wear them out, but Hey, they’re flu-flus so even when they look like mange-dipped rats hanging onto the back of the shaft, they still work. They will work with a drop away … I shoot them off a recurve shelf.

Tip them with a small game blunt … works great on squirrels.

Kind of an old thread but I’ll answer anyway.  I’ve shot flu-flu’s through a whisker bisciut ever since they first  came out and have never seen any kind of wear to the feathers.  This is with six fletch flu-flu’s by the way.  I’m not sure what spiral wound fletching would do.  It amaze me the myths that continue exsist regarding the whicker biscuit which has to be one of the simplist, most durable and easiest to tune hunting rests out there.

Interesting,  I have used the biscuit rest for years.  Way back when I was getting tired of the arrow falling of the rest while in the tree stand I switched.  I didn’t think it would work well with the flu flu arrows.  I would have thought that the contact from the feathers and the rest would really affect the flight.  Anyway, my son just upgraded from his Mission Menace to the ZXT.  We switched to the QAD rest on his and he seems to like it.  I guess I just want a change too.   Thanks for the info.
