It will not fit any other bow. This came directly from one of the Mathews techs.

It would be my guess that the technicians at the Mathews factory might know a little more than a guy at your pro shop…. ;)

I think the operative question to ask your bow shop tech is whether or not the alteration would void the warranty?

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY. YOUR MATHEWS BOW IS WARRANTED AGAINST DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP TO THE ORIGINAL OWNER, WHEN PURCHASED AT AN AUTHORIZED RETAILER, FOR THE LIFE OF THE ORIGINAL OWNER. THIS INCLUDES ALL BOW PARTS EXCEPT THE STRING, BUSS CABLE, CABLE SLIDE, RUBBER STRING SUPPRESSORS :FINGER” AND COSMETIC APPEARANCE(CHIPS, DINGS, SCRATCHES) CAUSED BY NORMAL USE AND WEAR. BOWS SENT BACK TO MATHEWS WITHOUT A PRE-ISSUED RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER WILL BE REFUSED, ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, WRITTEN OR IMPLIED, ARE VOID WITH ANY ALTERATIONS TO THE BOW[/color:1azeuhlr]

Look at the Z7 in person and you will clearly see that it will not fit other bows.
