It’s July and the Mississippi is over flood stage, can’t fish, went yesterday as the river droped so I could see the top of the boat ramp, but was like fishing in a sewer. Got rained and blowen off the water, and after three hours had one blue-gill, and cought three short bass.

The wisconsin river finally went down here. It was really high and some guides were cancelling clients. Good to see it returning to normal. Even here in sand country we had to much for a whike. It never rained nice it was always an inch or two in an hour with horrible winds and tornados.
