how many of you would be glad to see the rage broadheads availably with a chisel tip like muzzy for next season? thats the only thing keepin me from using the snyper xp3 over the rages for next year. i like having bone crushing power on my arrow for a mechanical. how many of you just like the razor tip?

The reason why I went with the Grim Reapers this year is, because the Rage didn’t have a chisel tip. I would really like next years Rage to sport the chisel tip with the two blade….I tried the Grim Reaper with the cut on contact blade and found that the blade bends.

The 3 Blade Synper and xp3 I do belive has the chisel tip….. The synper was the first model before the Rage…… It is pretty much the same as the Rage with a few changes…… [=}=]

if rage made their heads with a chisel tip i would use them probably over the xp3 because the cutting diameter is bigger with the 2 and 3 blade and they dont use rubber bands

I don’t use the rage heads but the thunderhead xp’s with the razor tips and I can still use 2 of them, no damage. The third I never found after the shot. All I am saying is I think the razor tip is pretty strong, but maybe another option would sell more too.

Chisel tips are overrated, in fact you lose penetration by using one. The cut on contact tip is far more durable than any of you might think! [=}=]

Just when I decide to try a mech no one within a 50 mile radius from me has any left. Middle of Dec seems to be the ship date :thumbdown

I am just a 3 blade broadhead person…fixed or mechanical. The 2 blade cuts a big hole but I prefer any 3 blade. I shot a turkey this week with the 2 blade, she was facing me and is pretty much gutted her with the exit hole.

Just let me know and Ill post a few pics for you. As of yesterday I have taken four deer with the the 2 blade Rage. All of them have been does but I have had astounding results with this head. Its driving the guys that I hunt with insane. Even the doe from yesterday. I shot her with the same arrow and head from the second deer that I have taken. I had originally put the head up and when I went to put replacement blades in it before this weekends hunt I found the original ones still pretty sharp. The deer that I had originally taken with it never let the head bury up in the dirt.
Yesterdays deer went farther than the rest since she tumbled down a ridge after she had went 60 yds. The blood trails have been un-real. I am definitely sold on this head. :thumbup
