I have answered this questions a few times on this forum. I have never used the Ripcord so I cant say anything about it.

I have the QAD Ultra LD on my XT and love it. I love the fact that it locks down after the shot. I have had mine for 5 months and never had a problem with fletching contact. I also love the fact the QAD allows you to be at full draw…and make a slow let down…without the arrow being released…or having the forks fall all the way down. The arrow is always secured. Just my two cents.

the qad is BY FAR a better rest. Its also easier to tune due to micro windage and elevation adjustments. I have tried a lot of rests, and this one is by far the best. :thumbup

I like the QAD better. Have had one on my last two bows with no problems. As stated above, I like the fact that the forks holding the arrow will stay in an up position, if you want it to. Nice to know your arrow is secure and won’t fall off the rest.

Looks like a pretty close race between the two :whistle

From looking at the number of people using each of the rests, I think you will be fine with either one :thumbup

If it makes your decision any easier, I have a Trophy Taker Pronghorn rest now that works perfectly, but I am considering putting on a NAP Smartrest at the end of the season :whistle
