I have a friend who just bought a new Chill and is looking to sell his Prestige. I’m thinking about buying it for a dedicated target bow. Its 50-60# limbs and id use it for indoor and possibly 3D when im not using my Creed. Anyone using a Prestige still?

Plenty of them still being used. It would be hard to pry them out of some guys hands.

Prestige is a great bow all around.  Would make an excellent target bow.  As a matter of fact I think gjarcher shoots one (at least he use to)

If I was in the market for a bow and knew someone selling one I’d jump on it in a heart beat if the price was right.

Yep, still shooting my 60/28.5″ Prestige. It is one of my all-time favorite bows because it does everything well, holds very steady, very forgiving despite its 6″ brace height, reasonably fast (332 fps IBO equivalent, rated 322 fps @ 29″).

Target bow setup, great for Indoor, NFAA, and 3D: I shoot 54# DW using fatshafts for Indoor, and up to 303 fps @ 60/28.5″ using a 5 gr/lb arrow for 3D.

Hunting bow setup, tweaked to 63#/28.5″. Up to 282 fps using a 397 gr, 12% FOC arrow, up to 263 fps using a 462 gr, 17% FOC arrow. Use tennis racquet grip tape to insulate the integral riser.

I still shoot mine too.  Its my dedicated 3D (and indoor when I shoot it) rig.  If I had any sense Id hunt with it too.  Nothing about a Prestige that I dont like.  Mine has camo 70lb limbs and 29″ DL.  To keep it around my preferred 282 fps the limbs are backed waaay off.  I guess Ive had mine for five or six years and bought it used as well.

Cool. Glad to hear a lot of you still like them! I need to shoot it to make sure the draw length is where I need it but my friend and I are usually identical in DL so it shouldn’t be a problem. Its in the pull range range I’m looking for (little lighter than my Creed but not terribly low) but not sure on the color combo. black riser/camo limbs. I guess those could always be changed if it i ever absolutely had to. The price is right tho, $200 cash and about $150 worth of shooting gear (that I actually ended up getting for free). I just may have to take him up on this…
