Poll question:

Dear Mathews Family –

We're excited to announce the launch of the all-new Mathewsinc.com coming very soon. We appreciate the support and feedback of this active online community, however, we will not be hosting a forum on the new site. We invite you to connect with us and each other on social media and other forums (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Bowsite.com, Bowhunting.com and Archerytalk.com), where your passion and experience can be shared with a wider audience to help grow this sport.

NO, there is not tat much of an advantage for this. Plus, I want to be able to pull that thing on a really cold morning.

Actually what I want is a 60-80lb bow but yes I want an 80lb bow for next year regardless who makes it.

80lb bow with a 320-340 IBO and a 500 grain arrow plus a huge Aftershock 2.75 Mech Head equals destruction on a Thermonuclear Level. :D

I voted no.I truly feel that I would not be able to draw it back after sitting still in my tree stand for 6 hours in 30 degree weather. And if I did I would probably need to “sky” the bow on draw anyway.Think about this too,if you had 80# draw and had an 80% let-off cam,Then what you would be holding at full draw would be fairly unmanageable too.JMHO [=}=]

… Then what you would be holding at full draw would be fairly unmanageable too.JMHO [=}=]

80# x .20 (80%) = 16 lbs holding wt. Not enough to guarantee consistency of the shot IMHO

    70# x .35 (65%) = 24.5 lbs holding wt. :X

Only a wuss would shoot 80 lbs at 80% letoff … You don’t want the Trad guys making fun of you, eh? :^O :^O :^O

    I actually prefer 50% letoff on a 70lb bow. :D

28lbs holding weight sounds relaxing. [=}=]
