I hope you have a BIG knife and sharpener handy. And, you will soon need to be cleaning your shotgun on a regular basis as well. If you are not sure what I am alluding to, you will figure it out before long. Beautiful daughter, by the way.

Thanks, Micky. I’m very proud of her, as I am with all my kids. She’s really taken to the hunting/archery recently. For some reason, helping me butcher my buck last year really sparked something for her. I’m trying to keep it going with out pressuring.
I enjoyed your pictures of Trace too. Post ‘em up again Looks like your raising a quality young man there. These kids sure put life in perspective

Location: Virginia2010 – My son Boomers first archery deer. He was 7 years old
2011 – His 2nd archery deer. 8 years old
2011 – His 3rd archery deer, 2nd of the season. 8 years old
2011 – my 10 year old daughter Kacie with her first archery deer. She had killed one two years prior with a crossbow….but she doesn’t want to count that one….LOL!
There are very few feelings in the world that I have known like the feeling of being with your child when they experience their first archery kill! Its a wonderful blessing!

Joined: 3/8/2011This is Will with his new Craze. His 10th birthday is next week, but I gave the bow to him yesterday. He was out of his mind over it. He shot until his arms were too tired to hold the bow and then he got mad when I put it away. We were only shooting at 5 yards, just to have him get the feel of the bow. Today, we’ll back up to 10 yards. He said it was his best birthday gift ever. Imagine what I thought of that.2011 Z7 70# QAD Ultra Rest Pro Apex 4-pin sight CX Maxima Blue Streak 350

Location: Missourijust got my boy a Genesis for Xmas…been holding on to it for a year already and finally couldnt stand it. unfortunately he’s still not strong enough to pull it back, didnt think that thru enough i guess.
He was super pumped so i helped him whip a few short shots at the target. hopefully by summertime he’ll be able to fling a few with me.
he’s just over 5.
daughter is 2.5 and was begging to have a turn already too, “I wanna shoot like daddy.”
Should be a fun thing for a good time to come. Trying to get my wife to pick it up as well, never been able to convince her to join me in the woods. Maybe it’s a start.Team 19: Silent Assassins
