    YES[/size:28yo6jgr][/color:28yo6jgr]. my opener was the same way, i went. This is how i look at it. If i am not in the woods how can i shoot a deer. I get limited time to hunt so i go when i can. :thumbup [=}=]

    Hey i am in the same boat so to speak :^O I am going no matter what. How can you kill that big buck or doe sitting on the couch watching tv and sulking. one thing for certain you smell won’t carry as far in the rain. :thumbup

    you cant kill them in the house and its not like their going to dissappear from the rain? go kill you on just make sure you make a better hit if its raining hard :thumbup :thumbup

    Yes…and only yes if there’s no bad weather with the rain like lightning and high winds. In the south it seems all the bad stuff comes with the rain.

    I hunted this afternoon in the rain and had 2 deer in range. Other guys in my group saw from 2 to 12 deer each. A little wind and steady light rain didn’t make the deer do anything different.

    Round here seems there is an awful lot of big buck movement in a light rain/sprinkle. My favorite time to hunt. [=}=]
