just bought a mathews lost camo edition limb driver pro v rest and put it on my new creed last night and shot some indoor 3d with it. and it was kind of loud to me. now, i have always used the regular ld rest and have had great luck with that model. was just wondering if any of you guys have had the same problem with that rest. the cord to the upper limb is really tight. (maybe to tight)? it has the felt piece on the back side of the arm where it hits the stop. any suggestions? i will try loosening the cord or just put another felt piece where the back side of the arm hits the stop. any help would be greatly appreciated.
you may not like hearing this but, they did make a slight change to the 2013 model.they are using a material like the shelf pad of theirs,a rubber compound, instead of the felt pad which seems to squish and not offer much cushion.also, the cord does NOT need to be like a banjo string tight. i just got one of my friends a drop pad that he is going to use a piece of to replace the bumper on his. this should help, the rests themselves are fantastic.

I have one on a Monster and the felt that came with it did let it make some noise. I cut a piece of sims shelf pad on before season and it was great but the sims is a little to spomgy and moves around. I am going to try a vapor trail shelp pad should be better. It’s a nice rest shots great.
It can be made quite and for huntting it a nice rest. I shot 2 deer with it this year they neve knew it. I had relaxed on the buck I shot and came off full draw maybe 1/2 way or slightly more and what I like about this rest is no way to fall off bounce off great rest for huntting.
