I just got a pack of 3 nockturnal H nocks for my easton bloodlines. Only one of the nocks fit my arrows, the other two were too small. I dont believe I damaged the arrows when removing the original easton nocks because originals went back in perfectly. Has anyone see this before with this company. I am hoping my proshop will take care of me because they have outstanding customer service, but now I question the value of the product itself.Creed Lost Camo 70/28 Axion Lost Camo 5' Stab QAD HDX Lost Camo 380gr Easton Bloodlines, Blazers, 100 gr G5 Montec CS
central IL bowhunter
Location: ILNockturnal was bought by Rage, or FieldLogic. When that happened, quality went downhill, which is typical for FieldLogic.
I bought a pack of those before I knew that and used them for hunting. One of the three didnt work straight from the pack. Shot a deer with one and it never lit. When I found the deer, I saw the nock had broken clean off at the end of the arrow at the shot. I’m lucky I didn’t dryfire my bow. I took the other one off a threw it away.Mathews Chill R Mathews Chill Xwe have had similar issues at our shop. nocturnals were a fine product before the buy out, now we have had packaging, fit, and function issues. dealer should take care of you as it’s obvious that there is a packaging/fit issue. this is an unfortunate trend we are seeing, when a large company consumes a good small one, detail and quality gets overlooked by volume and greed in most cases.black z7 magnum, tommy hogg,qad,b-stingers, vaportrail: blue smoke triumph,sword,hamskae,b-stingers:desert tactical chill R, tommy hogg, limbdriver pro v,ktech, black chill x pro, limb driver pro v,axcel accutouch pro,B-Stinger.update,
went to the proshop today, Archery Unlimited in Pratville AL, the owner and his staff took great care of me. After seeing the problem he removed all of the H nocks from the shelf and began going pack to pack to try to make it work for me, He opened every package he had (about 12) and only found 2 nocks that would fit correctly, he apologized and gave me a full refund. It amazed me that he was willing to take the time to go through every package to see if he could make this work for me. He was also grateful that I identified the problem and he will not be selling faulty products to anymore customers. He told me that his older stock all say made in the USA and fit great, however his most recent shipments all say made in china on the package so they are apparently now made in a factory with very low standards for quality control. Any who, the shop owner told me he will be looking into some new products to stock and will let me know as soon as he finds the right nocks for me. The only positive here is the knowing that the folks over at AU will go above and beyond to take care of their customers no matter what the issue. Not sure if I will be giving Nockturnal another shot.Creed Lost Camo 70/28 Axion Lost Camo 5' Stab QAD HDX Lost Camo 380gr Easton Bloodlines, Blazers, 100 gr G5 Montec CS
Joined: 7/21/2004I”m very glad this was posted as I was considering buying some more. I have 4 that I’ve used for two years and figured it may be time to think about new ones as I’m not sure how long they last.
Too bad……WAS a good product. Will use what I have until they burn out and look for something else.BlackDog,
I will be starting a new thread soon with research about lighted nock options, tune in there to see what I find out and to see the many helpful post that are sure to follow from the guys and gals here. I don’t want anyone else dealing with what I did.Creed Lost Camo 70/28 Axion Lost Camo 5' Stab QAD HDX Lost Camo 380gr Easton Bloodlines, Blazers, 100 gr G5 Montec CSI had been using the Original nocturnals no problem. Starting buying the new ones this year. Had issues with some not fitting, some extremely hard to turnoff. Cut the end of my finger twice when the nock slipped out while trying to cut 2 of the last three off. Some of the new ones are getting dull fast. Never had any problems before. Returned 2 of the last three packs.
They were perfect in weight 20 grains.
They were very durable(shot all year and they never failed).
