    Well……..what’s a guy to do?  Took my ZXT in to dealer to have it sent back to Mathews for the string and cable serving wear issue, and came home with a new Creed.  I had to have something to shoot until I got it back,  didn’t I ?{#emotions_dlg.mathews_whistle} Couldn’t just set around and wait,   right? {#emotions_dlg.mathews_cool}

    Sounds like you got suckered … I get suckered all the time.{#emotions_dlg.mathews_not_talking}

    Took my broken Scott SES 5wt flyrod in for warranty repair, and the shop foreman lent me a G2 6wt … now I have a G2 6wt {#emotions_dlg.mathews_love} and a repaired SES 5wt.

    I’m still trying to explain to the wife how that happened. {#emotions_dlg.mathews_brick_wall}

    Got to spend a couple hours shooting it last night, and so far I am thrilled with being suckered!!!  Very impressive so far.  My ZXT is a 70 lb. bow, as I think I let my ego make the decision on that one.  Was shooting my 60 lb. DXT after stripping the ZXT down to send it off, and thought, man this is much more pleasant at 60.   And since I have a strong young 19 year old son who pulls back 70 like it was nothing,  I knew that the obvious thing to do was get the Creed in 60 lb. and let him have the ZXT.  I knew I could reason it out!  Honey, I did it for our son!!!

    Is there a known problem with the string and cable serving on the ZXT? The original post sounded like this might be a known problem. My ZXT has some fraying on the string serving. Thanks

    It sounds like you did good good.  But you guys are not suckers.  Once I went for a dozen nightcrawlers and came home with a new Polaris ATV and a 12 pack.  I forgot the nightcrawlers somehow.

    Not sure yet.  Mine was shipped back to Mathews yesterday for inspection.  They have already told me if they could not spot the cause they would replace the bow, and have promised a quick turn around, so hopefully will know soon.
