My Durango is pushing 100K with the original tires.
Still going stong but I should probably not tempt fate.

Or go one more year and scope out the 2011 bows?
You guys help me decide! :whistle

Decisions, decisions! There are several ways to think about this. A new bow would probably outlast a new set of tires, but then winter is coming on. And remember what Mom always said. “If you go driving around on slippery roads with those old tires you could wind up cracked up in a ditch with your neck broken and your eye poked out with a stick! Then we’ll see if you think that’s so much fun, mister!” :D
It's not how far you shoot, but how close you get.

100,000 miles , there can’t be much tread left. Might be a good idea to invest in a new set of tires before law enforcement says there unsafe for travel. My luck I would get a ticket.[/img]

    That’s the thing
Plenty of tread left and they are fine in the snow
But I’ll probably replace em anyway

Time Out!!! You have 100,000 on one set of tires   I’ve never gotten more than 45,000 out of a set. Depending on how long you’ve had them there’s a good chance you have allot of dry rot going on.

New bow is worthless if you end up in the hospital from an accident because of old tires ;)

A new bow is sexy… new tires after 100k are needed. No brainer for me.

Buy the tires and the bow and dont worry about it til next month when the credit card bill comes in the mail. After all you gotta do your share to keep this economy going. :^O

Ill tell you like dad would explain it to me growing up.

“man goes out buys nice new shiney bow, INSTEAD of tires for truck. Man gets shiney bow loaded into truck to go hunt. Tire blows out truck crashes, mans shiney new bow is a two peice bow now and insurance only covered just enough for a used truck with bad tires…true story”
