Joined: 1/18/2006go with the VTI’ve never tried WC…..but the VT’s I’ve tried are so I don’t see a need to spend more money when I don’t need to.
Joined: 11/24/2005I had Vapor Trails on my Hoyt’s, excellent service, and lightning fast shipping.
Joined: 11/16/2004Lots of very good string makers about and cheaper than both the companies you mention.
However of the 2 on the list I would spend my money with VT
Joined: 1/10/2006Of the 2, I’ve only had WC on my bows. I do love my set but they are more expensive. I think the only complaint I’ve heard about them was about the price. Now VT strings/cables, I’ve heard great things about them too……..and only a very few people complaining about the serving (like a couple only) which all have had the problem taken care of immediately by the company.
So, I know that I’m going to try VT strings/cables real soon (My current WC set on my XT is 16mo old now )
Joined: 6/23/2004I’ve got both/both are excellent,
but the Vapor Trails are less expensive and will be on your doorstep in 2 to 3 days with your choice of color.
Joined: 6/2/2005I’ve shot both, only because Vapor Trail came on a Bow that I tried a couple of years ago. It had the Hybrid Cam system, which I knew very little about, and I couldn’t keep the cams in scink because of String and/or Cable creep.
I use nothing but Winner’s Choice now. One less thing to worry about whether you’re shooting for the Gold, X-Ring or Hunting Trophy.

Joined: 6/28/2004ya can’t beat VT……..service…and quality…………great stuff at a reasonable price……Somewhere in the mountains of West Virginia....

You would like them John, believe me…I’m more than happy with mine..And customer service is the Top rate A+++….From the time I called them , they had my set in my mail box in 48hrs and in the colors I ordered….Very nice people with products to back up what they say…..
Joined: 6/2/2005Does Vapor Trail come with a One Year Warranty that it will not creep or ever have any serving separation
Winner’s Choice does.
Joined: 7/26/2005Vapor Trail, Ive only had one separate a little, pushed it up and Liqui-Loc’d it. The materials are the same the blends are different. The VT is a “tougher” string when its finished. Ive waxed both of mine 3 or 4 times. They never fuzz. Oh and no twist or creep after about 10-15 shots.
Why spend twice the money on something that doesnt last any longer and uses a smaller serving that slows your bow and screws up your letoff.(The real reason WC doesnt have any separation issues besides gluing it.)
Joined: 2/22/2005Lost 5lbs of draw weight with WC’s and kept getting Peep Twist…Never had an ounce of trouble with VT’s
