I am not sure how to proceed. I have an older Mathews legacy 40-50lb I bought from a shop some time ago. Today the top limb cracked and splintered on me. The shop is no longer around, and of course I do not have any paperwork on it as to when I bought it from them. What are my options?
Can I still get a set of these limbs for it?
Thanks for the reply,
No I bought this bow used from mike years ago.( Archery shop I got it from sorry), I just need new 40-50lb limbs for it and cant really seem to find any online anywhere. Can I still get new 40-50lb limbs for this bow? I love my legacy, I also have a switchback that I did buy new from him but there’s just something about my legacy I just cant let it go. and really want to get it back into the mix, I just don’t know if they still make the limbs for it.
So in all respect I could go to another dealer and order through them? Or can I just purchase from Mathews out right.
Thanks again Jim
I believe mathews has limbs and parts for all bows they’ve put out. You can still order through a dealer but it just may cost you a couple hundred. And I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure that’s how it would go down. Call dealer first they can call mathews and get back with you
But you buy the replacement limbs through Mathews, you get a warranty on those limbs.
Mathews has been good on product support — even on discontinued bows. And that is a major point I make about the brand when talking with other archers — unlike some brands that stop making parts for their bows.
