But if not, how about Orion????

That’s gotta be my favorite constellation[/quote:kj670qra]

If he names her Artemis he could even BE Orion.
I really like that constellation too….and the reason we “have” Orion is BECAUSE Artemis put him there, on the opposite side of the sky as the Scorpion. Apollo had sent the scorpion to get him and thus he was eternally protected. Therefore, just before Scorpius rises in the sky, Orion sets, as he avoids the creature.

Artemis is a moon goddess and the goddess of night and magic,
the goddess of the wilderness, the hunt and wild animals, the protector of all wild creatures. She mainly roamed the forests and wild country hunting for lions, panthers, and stags. She disdained violence for itself, yet she was swift to punish offenders, especially those who threatened or harrassed women. She was the protector of women.

I think she comes across as a pretty good goddess, and as the perfect bow goddess.

I usually just call my hunting bow ‘The Sandman’. I just loves putting the critters to sleep. :^O
