The play-by-play announcer is a toss-up. Mike Joy does a good job, and I though Adam Alexander did very good from the five laps or so I watched yesterday. In my opinion I think Rick Allen from SPEED does the best, as he seems to put just the right amount of emotion into the broadcast. Jerry Punch is terrible. Larry Mac does fine for technical info during a race and I think Dale Jarrett does a great job for the drivers perspective.
The biggest disappointment is that DW has always been on the broadcast for “The Prelude”.
