Well after spending a ton of time researching thumb releases. My first thumb release will be here Thursday. I bought a Carter 3 finger Chocolate Lite from the classified section on AT. Can’t wait to get everything dialed in with it.

Carter makes some of the best and if this one does fit you try another.

Love Carter releases.  I have a Too Simple and an RX2.  Have had and tried many others but these are great.  Good choice.

If you want to take your shooting to another level, learn to activate it using back tension. I’ve been working on this for several months using my Too Simple. Man what a difference!

Well got home from work today. And my release was suppose to be here today. But just my luck it didn’t show. And the USPS tracking is a total waste of time.Oh well maybe it will be here tomorrow when I get back from trout fishing.

I’ve tried at least 25 different releases over the years but the Carter Chocolate Lite 3 finger is the one I always end up staying with. I truly Love it!

Well I spent the day yesterday shooting the Carter Chocolate Lite. Its a great release but it doesn’t fit my hand very well. So I sold it and now have a Truball Boss X coming.

Does it feel too much in your hand to you? If so, check out the Too Simple.

Carter makes several others and if that find a shop that has some of their newer ones to test first before buying one.
Another one to try is the Stan shoot off three finger or four finger plus they have some  newer ones coming out soon.

Would like to try a Carter but Im scared. I don’t want to have to buy more stuff :)

I use a Truball thumb release that I really like. Changed the way I shoot it from last year and I think its helped me a bit. Def an improvement over my old finger release that i started having TP issues with.

I finally gave up on the thumb release idea. Its just not for me. So I ordered me a new Truball Short n Sweet..
