Just wondered what the ATA should be set to for my MR7.  It calls for 33″ but I was told to put it at 33 1/8″  What are the recommendations and why.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I have always set it to the Mathews specs of 33″. I’ve always understood that to be approximate in measurement and an 1/8″ might effect the timing of the cams and your draw length.

My string is centered in the timing holes at the moment.  If the ATA is set to 33 1/8″ would it be pulling longer then normal as well??

If your bow is back down in poundage it will increase your draw length and might change the ATA a small amount. It might be causing the draw length to be longer. My suggestion is to check it for poundage to see if it is at the max with the limb bolts turned in all the way. Your 1/8″ could be nothing to worry about. Just check a few other things like draw weight and draw length would tell you the string and cables are set properly.
