I’ve killed some deer with them before, and may use them again,
but there just not as sharp as they could be right out of the package.
    That concerns me. [=}=]

I killed 4 deer with these heads this year, and I am very happy with them, 100 gr. Swithback XT 62# all easy recoveries. Shot the practice heads and they hit same as the practice points. [=}=]

    Great product.
I shot this deer, complete pass thru. The broadhead was buried in the ground. After removing it to check it for damage, ( there was none) I was amazed that it didn’t even have any knicks on the blades. Only small scratches on the surface of the head and the blades were dull. A few passes on the sharpening stone and it was like new again. Pretty nice size hole for a head that only measures 1 -1/16″.

Very Very well made and it can be re-sharpened! Tough as nails too. [=}=] [/b:y96zc854][/color:y96zc854]

Montecs are awesome IMO. They fly great for me. Pair them with the g5 sharpening tool and you are good to go for a long time. As a matter of fact they seem to get better after sharpening.
