    My dealer told me last night that they are coming out with those 2 bows. He received notice yesterday.

    I am interested, but hesitant to get my hopes up until it is actually announced by Mathews.

    Well I was talking to my one dealer about the G5 Cmax rest and updating me on why it’s still at the factory and I brought this up to him. He had not heard a thing on it and was hanging up with me to make a phone call to his Mathews rep on something else and see what I told him is true. I told him if the price is right you might be selling me one of the Chill X.

    It’s a little too late,
    I’m a little to gone.
    A little too tired of this  hangin’ on.

    mighta thought about it 6 months ago…….IF this is true, I’ll probably still wait until something innovative comes out……beyond multicolored plastic inserts in quivers…….{#emotions_dlg.mathews_rolling_eyes}

    Wait long enough, and Mathews will announce the Hyper-Kinetic Limb pockets, the Quantum SE18 limbs, with an adjustable “Dial-A-Kill” riser from 28″ to 37″ ATA, Dead-Zero anti-vibration inserts, and a Versa Brace Height adjustable limb pocket angle for 5.5″ to 8″ brace heights, all in a 2lb 4 oz HeliM Featherweight barebow package … of course, the grip will be crap for many.

    Otherwise, the Chill-X seems like a real advancement of the Chill-series, IMHO.

    I haven’t shot the Rock cam, an improvement in the back wall that was speculated a few months ago, so the jury is out on that. As I understand it, the Chill-series bows can be retro-fitted with the Rock cam.

    My only question is, if you can pick up substantial speed from 85% letoff to 75% letoff, why not a 65% letoff option? Maybe that’s coming down the pike, later? Maybe it’ll bump the Chill-X up to 340 IBO and Mathews doesn’t want to cut into the ChillR sales? {#emotions_dlg.typotux}

    This info is preliminary, so maybe could change, but as of now this is what I’ve been told:
    RockCamChart

    Putting a Rock Cam 75% on a ChillR is estimated to bump the IBO to 348 fps. SaaaWeeet!

    Wow…interesting information on these new bows and Cam.
    This will certainly be a on going conversation on here for the next month.
    I am very curious about the Rock Cam. The reviews cant come fast enough guys…{#emotions_dlg.mathews_smile}

    Between Matt and Mark I am going to end up with a Chill R yet this year….{#emotions_dlg.mathews_wink}

    I just want to see the pics of the new Rock mods, or atleast hear if they are a more solid cable stop or a limb stop.
