    Ok I know its a ladys bow but I want one!!! So I guess what im getting at is can I put heavier limbs on one. I have a brand new set of black SE4 65# limbs with the matching turrets. Will these fit since the limbs that come standard on the are SE5. Personally I dont see a difference between them only graffics. I personally think I can swap out the suppressor arms and turrets. My goal is to have a 28″ ata bow with a 6 3/8 bh as light as the helium shooting as fast as the Zmag or faster. What are your thought? Oh and ps dont really care about the warranty.

    Well, I really don’t know the answer to your question, but my guess is you will be disappointed.{#emotions_dlg.mathews_peace}

    The difference between the SE4 and SE5 limbs have more to do with the width and cross section, that is the cut, than the billet modulus. If you have the turrets and pivots for the SE4 limb, then I suspect there will be no issue. However, any deviation from an engineered Manufacturer’s bow is a Frankenbow … so you are on you own.

    With that said, my take is you won’t obtain advertised Z7 Mag IBO … I have a Z7 Mag and I can’t get it to meet IBO, its about 6 fps short despite my over rotating the cam, etc.

    Good Luck, let us know how it turns out, but my bet is you’ll not get any more speed than the Jewel IBO, and the 5# extra peak DW won’t really be worth the expense of the conversion. JMHO {#emotions_dlg.mathews_peace}

    As far as  not having any Jewel logos … OneStringer Limbstations will take care of that…

    Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying it can’t be done, but just what SE4 limbs are you intending to use? Are they the same length as the SE5 limbs you are replacing?

    They are from a reezen 6.5. I can go to my local shop and measure a z7 xtreme limb and measure mine. Do you happen to know the lenght of an SE5 limb?

    Sorry they will not work. The riser width is different where the turret goes on. The SE4 turrets will not fit on there.{#emotions_dlg.mathews_peace}

    Nope, the extreme limb is longer than the jewel limb.

    That’s the problem with building Frankenbows … changes in limb pocket angles, limb lengths, riser widths, etc. all mean that DW and DL marked on the limbs mean nothing. I’ve built Frankenbows using heavy limbs and short draw cams which after making new strings and cables to fit the new ATA, etc. ended up no more than 50# max DW and 30+” DL.

    Browning 6T6 Maxim Riser, PSE solocam 26″ module.   Peak DW 55#, DL 31.5″
