Okay guys, I recently bought the new mathews creed and had a little buzz noise after the shot and when you pluck the string.. shot it no more then 40 times. Sound like its coming from the string and the cam and i was right…  I even had the archery shop take a look at it and changed the cam out. They couldn’t hear the noise but when i took it back home and shot it again, the noise was there. I been looking all over trying to figure where to pin point the noise. Well, guess what I found that was making the noise…..It is definitely where the string lines up with the grove on the cam.. the string seems to be wavy from left to right to left to right all the way down to the string grub. Is this normal..?? that seems to be making the buzz noise after the shot and when i pluck on the string..I tried the tissue between the string and the cam while I pluck the string and the no buzz noise.. So, then i took out the tissue and put my thumb and index finger on the cam right where the string lines up to the grove on the cam and wallah, no noise.. Took finger and thumb off and noise was there again.. So, has anyone had this issue before? Do I need to change the string out.?? Here is a few pictures.. its kinda hard to see in the picture but in person its really noticeable.

Idler wheel lean may be causing this and it can be corrected by tuning the yoke. If you look at the bow tuning guide in this section it describes tuning it properly.

I have noticed the exact same with my creed.  Did tuning the yoke fix the noise or is it the string?

have your dealer take off the cam and inspect it. If u bought it from there you should have free labor. If bearings are good then he can tune the yoke for you. But I don’t think an out of tune yoke can cause the noise you’re describing. U may want to check ALL the bolts that hold the cam on. It sounds to e like one of them it’s loose

P.s. I had a buzz on my creed also when I plucked the string  {#emotions_dlg.mathews_praying} . It too sounded like the cam at first but it turned out the light on my extreme sight had worked its way loose.  thankfully that’s all it was  {#emotions_dlg.mathews_big_smile} ! Good luck. Please let us know what u find out
