    I almost forgot, ive seen bow finishes wear off from right handed shooters that wear a wedding ring also.

    Given the age of the bow and assuming “normal” use, it’s reasonable to expect the camo finish wouldn’t wear to the degree the photo shows at this stage in it’s life. I’d make sure Mathews gets the feedback.

    Yeah I guess I will be sending it back once my Tactical Creed comes in. That way I am not bowless while the ZXT is getting refinished.

    I work in the optics industry, and it has been studied that different people have different levels of acidity that is secreted within ones hand sweat (some people cannot handle optical lenses because the high level of acidity stains lenses, and sometimes will etch their fingerprints into the glass surface). Even if you do not have overly sweaty hands you still may have higher levels of acid on your hands. This may or may not cause finishes on the grip area of a bows riser. And may also be more prevelant with someone who secretes higher levels of acid.
