Found out this morning that one of our science teachers passed away suddenly last night…  He wasn’t feeling well after dinner, his wife dropped him off so she could run and errand or two, and when she came home he had passed away.  Nothing like running a full blown crisis response for a school of 2000 and a faculty of 120…  It’s been a long day and I need a drink!

Heart? … typical scenario. Happens all too often … very sad.

My first cardiologist gave me the 50/50 rule …

if you are over 50 and don’t think you have a heart problem, there is a 50% chance you are wrong.

We are running with that theory now, but we won’t know for a while about the official cause of death.  Still sad today, but we are getting on with it.  The big ball doesn’t stop spinning round just because you lose a “family” member.

Thanks for listening to me vent!
