I voted for the Vegas 3….but I really don’t care which since I still have almost 100 of the 5 spot. You’re just going to have to teach me how to score the 5 spot targets
With the caliber of many of the shooters on here, the Vegas would be harder to score a perfect round………where the 5 spot you’d be counting “X’s” for breaking the ties [/quote:s8j0vfnf]
I dont think it would matter as far as keeping score, I know the 5 Spot round is alot harder to do a full round with hunting draw weights for most, including me but I cheat and take breaks doing the 3 Spot too.
I only do 3-d we dont have that in west monroe [/quote:2ugdu52q]All you need is a backstop and the paper target, then keep score………..The vegas face is 3 spots and you shoot 10 ends of 3 arrows. The 5 Spot is 5 arrows with 12 ends (I think). You only shoot 1 arrow at each target each end and then score and pull your arrows, then repeat.
I’ve found out that shooting this made me a better shooter overall………..and able to focus more when actually shooting a 3D course.
I know that I have a target face you can print out at home and just put up 3 of them to make 1 full Vegas target……..I don’t know if I have one for the 5 spot though
