The meeting today was a TOTAL waste of time. Half of what was said you needed to have a masters degree in business and marketing to understand, I think he has stock in Southwest airlines because he talked about them for about 20 minutes and how they do business. I think he has a BA in BS and the bottom line is he’s trying to convince all of us we need to be open later and on the weekends, because I’m sure everyone in corporate is working past 5:30 and is there on Saturdays. Oh wait we use to do the Saturday thing and over half the patients didn’t show up , yeah that’s why we don’t do it genius!!
So it was basically a lot of blah, blah, blah. Ironically when he was introduced there was no applause, I’m talking you could hear crickets!!
He ends it with “anyone have any questions”? (crickets chirp) “come on someone must have a question, did what I explained on blah blah blah make sense” (crickets chirp) Ummm buddy NO one is going to ask a CEO a question in a public forum even if they had one, after the first or second time drop it and end the meeting, dufus! It was a lame, lame meeting!
Yeah, Southwest Airlines uses all the same model plane a 737 so they always have parts and all the pilots and crew are qualified to fly the plane, other than that not really
Same story in the computer world. Parts and repairs are easier lol. Never did work well IMO because new models were released too often and the machines couldn’t keep up with the software changes.
Planes are another matter. Last longer than computers (I hope)
So you did learn one thing? All was not lost . I always told myself if I learned just one thing it wasn’t a complete waste LOL. Close but not complete.
Hey at least you weren’t disappointed and you were right!
