Where I live I doubt that not to many people would leave it walk. 10 points with nice tine length in Pa. Dead deer! :^O

    Yes, shooter for me. :thumbup

I bow hunt only. For a nice, although small, 10 pt to walk through within bow range. THWACK!!! The horns would be on my wall and the meat on my table.

I said no. Only if it were the very last hour of the last day would I arrow him. Before i get slammed for that, I don’t gun hunt so it would be my last chance. I am betting its a young buck…..

I think that deer is a little bigger than most people think, the black and white photo is throwing it off. 10 points, good mass and very good tine length…. I’m guessing he goes P&Y and I’d be happy to send an arrow through him [=}=]

On another note, judging by all the burrs at the base of the antlers i am guessing at least a 3 year old deer.

I didn’t vote with the answers provided as there are two many variables. My vote would be “it depends”. Location, time left in season, management practices on the land your at that day, public land, private land, season i.e bow or gun.

Certainly not a black and white question.

probably not (and i still have yet to shoot a buck with my bow) while it is a good rack, judging by the antlers (which can be dependent on what part of the country it is in) it looks to be a 3.5 year old deer. give it another year and it would be a heck of a deer. however, if it was an older deer in its declining years, then it would be a great buck to shoot. i tend to prefer to let the younger/smaller bucks grow for another year…but that is jmho…
