I just put the 7-pin model on my Z7 and it took me a little time to finally get it dialed in, but after I did, shot my first robin-hood @ 20yrds in years.
I was one of the original Timberline No-Peep users for years, but when IQ acquired the No-Peep technology from Timberline, I swapped to using a peep for a year or so but always regretted the change. When IQ acquired the No-Peep technology, a.k.a. Retina Lock Technology, the only reason I didn’t move to an IO sight at that time was that IQ didn’t then and doesn’t now offer a camo version. I finally came to my senses and realized that the deer doesn’t care if my site is camo’ed or not, it was really just a personal hang-up and wanted all my accessories on my Mathews bow to match. Anyway, the band is back together, and I can’t be happier!
I guess my only CON (concern) is the Retina Lock adjustment screws. They seem REAL easy to turn IMO, thus I’m little concerned that if the bow gets bumped hard, it might knock it out of alignment, but only time will tell. The old No-Peep had locking screws that were snug down stabilizing the sight from moving, providing piece of mind.
