Due for a phone upgrade and I’m stepping up to a “smartphone” now that AT&T finally offers a data plan for $15/month. So, which one would you get? Iphone 4 or Blackberry Bold :-k

I would treat yourself to an iPhone 4. Reason being even though the dreaded “death grip” can cause cell reception issues it is one heck of a phone unless you went with a droid which I don’t think AT&T has.

Now if you do go with an iPhone I could help you jailbreak it which in turn gives you full administrative access to it and you would be able to customize the phones look to your liking and other things.

None the less the standard looking is very clean.

Not a real fair comparison cause you can’t get apps(I think anyway) for a blackberry. There are some amazing and cool apps for the Iphones and the droids and a lot are free. So I would definately go with Iphone……..

You can get apps for the Blackberry, but I’d go with the iPhone.

Put a case on it, and it goes away. And, you have to hold the phone very awkwardly, so I don’t think its more than a geek complaint. [=}=]

You wanna be careful with the $15 data plan because it is pretty limited on the usage. Just wanted to give you a heads up just in case you werent aware. I know its pretty easy to burn through a plan with limited usage, and you dont wanna get stuck with a $500-1k bill because you were playing on your phone to much! :thumbup

I’ve never had an iphone. But I just got the droid incredible by htc on verizon. I have to say I am very happy with it so far. I would recommend it to anyone.

Also, Brett, the text messages will now be on a restricted plan, unless you currently have Unlimited Messaging, which will be carried over. Its on a size limit I believe! [=}=]
