Well after my terrible ankle accident and having surgery following a drunk driver hitting my truck right before season, I just got some great news. There was about 25 acres behind one of my cousins houses that has some prime deer hunting on it. I know this due to a few houses down there is a hunted house/hay ride and we know they owners and they had a few people hunt out there once in a while. I seen a 2 1/2 year old 130in 8 point that was killed, An the owner said he watched a big non typical 14+ points out there one morning while they were getting the set ready for the night. An last year two of there family members killed two 10 points 150 class deer.
Well my cousin called me to let me know there talking to the owners and are working out a price and are going to buy it and I can hunt it when ever I want!!!!!!! I can’t wait to get some cameras up. The deal should go through as my cousin is ready to pay about 7,000 an acre, an I cant see them turning it down due to the fact that the land is to narrow in the beginning to build a house and to make a drive way long enough to make it to where it opens up would violate the citys rules for some reason I guess they can limit how long your drive way is. So the property hasn’t been touched since they owned it sum 30 years ago.
Sometimes you just got to take the good with the bad right! I feel im making out on this deal if all goes well!
Oh for sure, This is the best thing every, I’ll probably have about 3 small food plats maybe 1 acre plots, and about 3-4 permanent blinds!!!! An put up a few ladder stands for my bow hunting. Still waiting to hear from them, we think there trying to get ah hold of a agent to see what they think there property is worth! The suspense is killing me. No my cousin does not hunt at all, But I asked him with only having to walk into your back yard would you start hunting, he said yeah that would be a possibility, so looks like i got another family member to bring up to speed!
