I was reading a hunting magazine
    and looking at the adds,
i was wondering if the personne annoucing the hunting product
    influence your choice of gear?

    Or ,those ordinnary hunter,
like most of us here(I hope i am not the only one)
inspire your choice better than the adds in the magazine?

I voted for the second option, but truth be told, I am a try it out myself[/i:3hvw78t3] kind of guy, so it’s more my personal experience that registers the most influential to me.

The stars, professionals and experts endorsing products are paid to endorse the products. The product may or may not be as great as they say it is.

I voted for the second choice. I know that I prefer doing a lot of research, but when I see an ad in the magazine, or on a show of a product that intrigues me, I tend to start looking, and looking and looking…..then asking and I know that the members here will tell me if they have bad and good experiences with the product……not to mention their thoughts and ideas of the product which may or may not be things I’ve already thought of [=}=]

Forum members. Because they are real hunters and have been there and actually used the product. Not just endorse it because it is a sponsor. [=}=]

Three different friends of my Dad’s , we consider friends of the family…All said Mathews when I started to get back interested in bowhunting…I took a break from it for about 6-7 years…I never took archery equipment serious , to began with until I started using Mathews…..Glad I did , I have enjoyed it throughly…. If I see something getting a lot of press I will look at it. If I hear positive feedback about something from others I will look even closer.

I like to get opinions from guys like me that will actually tell you that they have had the product & yeah it is worth buying or no dont buy it because it’s a p.o.s. I dont go buy something because some hunter is on a commercial & says best product out & he is getting paid to say it. [=}=]

I voted Hunting star in magazine or hunting tv show.

BUT, I most influenced by this forum from no one in particular regarding purchases. I try and if I like it I get it. :thumbup
