What Optics & Power do you use? And are you happy with them?

I’ve been using the Swarovski 10×42 SL (Black) for 12 years now. They have been an awesome piece of equipment. I’m a firm believer that a good quality optics is my number one piece of equipment!

Nikon monarch 10×42 best binocular for the price, equivilant to 600-700 dollar optics, and very durable.

Nikon Monarch 10x42s here and love them. Excellent value for the price.

If money was no object I’d have some Swarovski ELs, though that’s a ways off.

I currently use Swarovski 7x42SLC’s which i love in the thick woods
    and
8x42EL Swarovski’s are always on the dash of my pickup.keep the
    Nikon 8x30s in the mule.
also use a SWAROVSKI STS80 SPOTTING SCOPE FOR the long stuff.
have a pair of 10X42 Leicas ,were a gift, that i usually keep loaned to
    someone.

quality binoculars are a lifetime investment.buy the best,
one day you to will have 50 year old eyes. loved my Nikons
when i was 35 but time wears on.

if i was a young man with $2k to spend on an archery setup
and binoculars,no doubt it would be a $1800 pair of Swarovskis
and a $200 pawn shop bow, that $1200 XT setup will be worth $50
in 10 years and SWAROS more than what u paid for them
    think about it

You have some very nice Optic’s there!

When I was 18 and living on my own, working two jobs, I bought my Swarovski SL 10×42 for $899.00. And that was A LOT of money for me then. But looking back now, buying them has been my best investment I’ve every made for my hunting equipment. I could easily sell them for what I paid for them, and they have found me many of bucks bedded in the sage brush.

I also have a pair of older Swarovski 10×50’s that I keep in my truck 24/7 They are too heavy for field use.

My buddy picked up those 10×42 EL and I REALLY like them! But I can’t justify the $1900.00 bill, when I have such a good pair now.
