    Average to below average.

Hunting was way below average this year, but I was able to put meat in the freezer.

    Sap/syrup season was outstanding.

Racing was kind of a bust. Won three Features and several Heats. The “old” car is still bent and it showed on the track (even though it got a few more wins). Blown motor, broken shocks and a few blown tires made it one of the worst years we’ve had as far as mechanical failures.

I would say better than normal. I have to say the best years would be the years my 3 sons were born, and the year I got married, and the year I got saved, but this year has led to my retirement. So in a way it is above normal and also a best year. I have had a few best years. I picked the best year catagory but I really mean it is also a best year and better than normal. I quit drinking this year and my mind is more clear. I have more room for more important things now. I dont believe I will ever go back to drinking. The main stress I had was from trying to ride the fence, and drinking instead of keeping my eyes on the Lord.

Absolutely the worst Year of My Life

    Yep…With only one exception….[/quote:fubf9fs9]

We’ve had some good, some bad, lots more stress than other years. Still, when I look at all my blessings, I’ve been blessed with much. You can look at it as having a lot to lose, but I’ll take the positive approach and be thankful for what comes my way.

I would appreciate less stress but much of that is outside of my control.

For the most part, 2009 has been one of the worst years in my life: work, economy, etc. But, it has actually been one of the best years in my life for two reasons — two new baby granddaughters!!! One born in Minnesota in January and one born in Tennessee in July. Two beautiful, healthy, happy baby girls. :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs

Great year here! Besides some great family & work successes I killed my best 2 bucks ever.

I choose not to list any bads as they are behind us and my glass is definitely half full!

My Buck killing skills are sick – too bad there not contagious!!! Big Bucks are easy - That's why I let them go and shoot little young ones :)

The first half of the year was fine with several championships in archery, the successful piloting of a new program at school and a new vehicle (even though it was hard to give up my Blazer).

From September on, it’s been horrid. Broken foot, plus being sick almost the entire month of December and pretty much missing the Christmas season really put a damper on all the fun. I hope next year is better.
