had it adjusted today (twisting the cables) to bring it to peak weight of 60lbs (it was at 58)i have not shot it yet but i noticed the string doesnt quiet touch the lower string dampener and it is touching the top (as it always did) the string is low in the cam window (not exact center)…

axle to axle(28″),brace height(7 3/8″) ,poundage,(60-62) and cable centered in window will put you back in spec. these all need to be checked at max poundage.

the bow is a 60lb but never made it with the 28.5 cam  my dealer said they could squeek a few pounds out of it doing it this way..but the way i understand it is , this is how it will have to be to get the extra pounds…i will check those specs

If I’m understanding you right, a couple more twists to the cable should bring everything to spec nicely.  Those twists to the cable shouldn’t have much of affect on the BH or ATA.

if i time it with the string centered in the cam hole the bow will not make weight

This will add the extra 1 to 2 pounds and not affect the timing. I have always set mine up in the lower half of the cam timing hole. And as I shoot the normal stretch of the cable and string will usually show it in the middle of the timing hole. Any changes made will change something else and this chart will help you tuning in the lost pounds.

First, there isn’t any timing for a solocam in the sense of getting two cams to match rotation and be in synchronization. All the solocam has is rotation. Anywhere in the ‘window’ is considered ‘in spec’.

My Z7 Mag has the same cam and will not make rated DW with the bow in spec and the cable centered in the window. However, the cam suppressor does still touch the string when the cam is slightly over rotated, so I suspect that the string may be carrying too much tension at brace and with a better setup of the string and cable the suppressor would come back into play and the bow be somewhat quieter with less vibration.
