I have no choice, no shops where I live. Been learning a lot from this site and a few others. Wish there were courses that could be taken from Mathews online for some sort of certification ;;)

Since I got my press I’ve done all of my own work except for replacement of a cam on one bow (done by the shop at no charge).

i’d rather do it myself than have someone do it for me, even if it was free.

After getting jerked around by shops, I decided it’s time to really get into the guts of this sport and learn as much and do as much of my own work as I could. I would say 75% I learned right here. :thumbup

I do all my own work unless it has to do with replacing my string/cable, or switching the cam…….like I’m about to do when I get the new one in.

I’m just not sure about doing it myself……yet……….and I don’t have my own press, but use the one at the range………..so once the string/cable is on, there’s other stuff to do before putting in the peep and I don’t wanna bring all my “toys” into the range so I can do this. [=}=]

I have learned soooo much from this forum. I love doing all my own work. To me that is archery. Making arrows, tuning and then shooting them. if I couldnt tweek it I don’t think I would like archery that much.
