So which is it, do a dozen arrows last longer then the target or the target last longer then a dozen arrows???
So far the Morrell bag has outlasted the arrows. But it’s the wear and tear on the arrows when I’m NOT shooting at the target that has done the arrows in. Never had a set of arrows that were only shot at a target.
Karl Plato at Pacific Bow Butts manufactures the very best archery target I have ever shot. It will outlast any and every target mentioned so far. I bought one off of the range at NFAA Outdoor Nationals last year after it had been shot by over 500 people for 5 days. I shoot it on a daily basis and have not even moved my paper target placement yet. Has been outside over a year unprotected without a hint of degredation. Still get less than seven inches of penetration with a 70# bow and 460 gr arrows. Look them up online line. Just search Pacific Bow Butts.
I have a homemade target that is going on 5 years old with just some tightening of the bolts along the way. I also have a tendancy to shoot trees, limbs, etc. at 3D shoots, so my arrows seem to disposable!
