How long does your bow target last, compared to dozen arrows?

I will usually find that a dozen arrows will out last most targets.

I do have a good back stop so I don’t lose many arrows.

Have a Delta Quad target for FP. Have over 2000 shots in one face, have 3 other faces to shoot when this one wears out. I don’t leave it outside in the elements. Haven’t had a pass through yet either.

I also have a Morrell YJ for FP’s……Don’t have as many shots in this target, probably only about 200-300 shots in it……seems to be holding up really well [=}=]

I have a homemade target made out of a 2X2 square cardboard box about 1 foot thick and stuffed with a ton of old jeans, rags and sheets of cardboard. I am surprised at how well this box has stopped arrows. :X I have only had a couple of arrows poke out the other side and no complete pass-throughs. I can also pull the carbons out with one hand without putting my other hand on the target because I guess the jeans have good stopping power but not much friction on the way out. This target lasts about 250-300 shots before I have to replace the front cardboard surface but it is a good, cheap alternative to BLOCKS that works.
Sorry I didn’t really answer your ? but I hope this helped anyway. [=}=]

Not try the Delta Quad I will have to try one, as far as the black hole I find that they don’t last long. Try the plastic bags in a bag. Like you said, just a few hunderd shots & they gone

I’ve had my Block Pro for 2 years and it has held up great. A couple thousand fieldpoint shots and several hundred broadhead shots.

I’ve had a block 4×4 for about a year now and its almost time to get a new one. I shot it EXTREMELY heavy…I am 50-100 arrows everyday during the summer…and everyother day during the off season…Its held up very well. :thumbup

My prototype target had a ton of walmart plastic bags in it but the friction would cause the bags to melt onto my arrows and leave a sticky residue on them. I was fed up with that after about 10 shots so I threw that target away. Maybe you were talking about different plastic bags :smt69 :?: . Its not that bad really because I just grab a new cardboard sheet, duct tape it to the box, spray paint some dots and away I go. 8D [=}=]

I have a yellow jacket bag & that thing will last me forever & i have shot over 1000 arrows in it since i got it & it looks new. I have a couple of 3-d tagets that i shoot bh’s in & they are about trashed. I also gave a glendale full rut that has had it’s share of arrows in it & it is in new condition. [=}=]
