I found this at lowes today for 15 dollars and wanted to get some inputs on this idea i had. seems to work. does put limbs in an awkward possition and sets level on the x and y i think it will be great for my tuning and stuff.

its a vise with rubber/plastic grip pads and its able to rotate 360 degrees and flip 360 degrees. you twist the yellow ring to move it or rotate it and the clamp is like a normal vise.

Do you have a name or item number? I tried to find it on Lowe’s website.

How much could you possibly be saving? My bow vice was 18 $ & it does everything I need it to.

I bought one from Lowes that looks something like that one with the same idea a couple of years ago.

It had a suction cup base that worked with small items but couldn’t hold a bow so I bought a regular bow vise for less than $20.

So I can get 1 vice for 18.95, 2 vices for 17.95 each or I can get their extra special package of 2 vices for $39.95. Wow, what a great deal. Not to mention that the package price is described as the 2008 version while if you buy them individually for a cheaper price it is the new 2009 version. Now I remember why I stopped doing business with them.

it will if you drill a hole through the center and anchor it with fender washers.

thats the way i feel. i mean i could of made a better vise but if this is available and cheep to purchase im all for it. necessity is the mother of all inventions. [=}=]

here is the same vise just a different color pattern.
