We had to cut our anniversary vacation short so we’re home early. We had a good time in Hawaii, saw some things we’ll never see again. Everything was going great till Wednesday. We got a call that Lori’s mom who was in a nursing home had taken for the worse. We got to see Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona memorial, the USS Missouri, and a few other sights. Also made it to a Luau, and drove the road to Hana. It has more turns than Obama does, would have been a great bike ride! That’s where we were when we got the call. The rest of Wednesday was spent making calls and start packing. Thursday we finished packing and got a plane from Maui to Hanaulu then on to Atlanta and Evansville and the drive home then to her mom’s.
Sorry you had to cut it short and sorry to hear about her mom.
